Interview with Vladimir Nikolaev for Senal News about Voronezh Animation Studio projects

In an interview with Senal News, producer Vladimir Nikolaev spoke about the studio’s key projects that are already attracting international audiences and distributors.

"Arctic Heroes" is a story about friendship, family, science, and adventure. In April 2026, the film successfully premiered in Turkey, taking 2nd place at the box office among animated releases in its opening weekend. It was screened on 204 screens, losing only to “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”.

"Dr. Dolittle" is a modern interpretation of the legendary story. The new feature-length animated film combines adventure, humor, and a vibrant visual style. The project has already secured presales in Latin America, Spain, Turkey, South Africa, and MENA countries.

The "The Steel Family" franchise is developing as a large-scale cinematic universe about a team of heroes solving global challenges — from missions in Siberia to space expeditions.

In 2027, the studio will present "Big Brain Energy" — a science-oriented animated project about talented children, knowledge, and innovation, designed to inspire the new generation to take an interest in science and technology.

Russian animation is becoming increasingly confident in entering the global market — with universal stories, strong family values, and international ambitions.
