Voronezh House of Animation project passed state expert evaluation

An important milestone has been reached – the project for the Voronezh House of Animation has successfully passed state expert evaluation. The construction is set to begin next year as part of the regional targeted investment programme.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported this initiative, and of course, to Governor Alexander Gusev, who made the decision to implement the project.

It is worth noting that over the past few years, the purpose of the House of Animation has evolved. It will not only house 450 professionals from the world-renowned ‘Voronezh Animation Studio’, but will also feature a production facility, a museum, and a regional creative college. This will transform it into a full-fledged state educational institution. Furthermore, the House of Animation will serve as the venue for the annual Voronezh International Animation Festival ‘AniMakers’, which continues to gain prominence and is quickly becoming one of the key events in the global creative industries sector.
