Series ‘The Steel Family’ was shown during ‘Conversations about Important Things’

The director and scriptwriter of the animated series ‘The Steel Family’ Aleksey Zamyslov spoke about the production process of the project and presented its first episode to the pupils of school 102 in Voronezh as part of the lesson ‘Conversations about Important Things’. The event was held for pupils of the 2nd grade level, and most of them are children of the SMO participants.

The animated series ‘The Steel Family’ was released in November 2023 on the online cinema Kinopoisk, immediately after the release the platform's rating was 8.6, with more than 92% of scores of reviews and reactions above 7. The series entered the top 150 of all content on Kinopoisk.

Among the cartoon’s strengths the viewers noted its correct ideological orientation and patriotism, as the plot of the cartoon directly, and not abstractly tells the history of Russia and the USSR, mentions the Great Patriotic War, monuments and artefacts of Russia, their features are told in a simple language for children, unobtrusive and logically woven into the narration. The world is saved by Russian agents and their children, who use well-recognised Russian models of cars.

The audience called the plot development dynamic, intriguing, with a sufficient number of references, kind, in the traditions of old Soviet animation. Most viewers also noted the high level of animation and referred to the series as a real feature-length family film. Among the other noted advantages of the series there also were traditional family values, represented in the large family of the main characters and promoted in the series.
