‘The Creative Class’. Animators shaping the future

Voronezh Animation Studio participated in the filming of the documentary series ‘The Creative Class’. This project highlights creative industries and their leaders. Episode 8 of the season 1 focuses on animators and animation and creative industries, where art and technology converge.

In the episode, Vladimir Nikolaev, General Producer, and Aleksey Zamyslov, screenwriter, discuss the studio’s journey, its milestones, key figures, and significant events. They also share insights into the people behind the animation frame, what it takes to become an animator, and the current state of Russian animation.

The documentary series ‘The Creative Class’ demonstrates that even in the harshest and most challenging conditions, Russian creatives strive to excel and achieve remarkable results with limited resources. Hosted by Konstantin Kryukov, the series provides an in-depth look at the lives of the creative industry’s heroes, showcasing their ups and downs while offering insights on how to enter the creative industry and what it takes to succeed.
