VORONEZH ANIMATION STUDIO PRESENTED ‘ADVENTURES ON ADMIRALTY SQUARE’ BY 350TH ANNIVERSARY OF BIRTH OF PETER THE GREAT
On 28 May, as part of the celebration of the anniversary of the Russian Emperor Peter the Great, the Spartak cinema hosted the premiere screening of the animated film ‘Adventures on Admiralty Square’ by Voronezh Animation studio, which was supported by Governor Alexander Gusev and the Voronezh Region Government. The film was presented to the audience by Oleg Mosolov, Deputy Chairman of the Voronezh Region Government, and the studio's creative team, such as Vladimir Nikolaev, General Producer, Aleksey Zamyslov, Production Designer, and Sergei Vinogradov, Chief Animator of the project.
The premiere of the animated film about the adventures of the cat Vaska and his puppy friend Bulka drew a full house, in the cinema hall all the invitees were greeted by actors whose costumes created a vivid atmosphere of the era of Peter the Great. In the new story, the witch-crow sends the heroes back to the time when Emperor Peter the Great only began to build Russia's first regular navy on the Voronezh River. Vaska and Bulka not only fulfil their dream to ride on a sailing ship, but also meet Peter the Great in person and learn everything about the sailing fleet first-hand.
When presenting the project, the studio's General Producer Vladimir Nikolaev congratulated the guests on the end of the school year, breaking the house of schoolkids down, and noted the importance of such projects: ‘Working on such cartoons as ‘Adventures on Admiralty Square’ is inspiring, it allows us to touch history, the important events that took place in Voronezh and Voronezh region. We show these events in our cartoon in a playful way, which can give an impulse to read and learn about the history of our region’.
The cartoon of the studio ‘Adventures on Admiralty Square’ received many bright and positive reviews from the audience and was greeted with applause.
