Sergey Bezrukov to make debut as animated character

Sergey Bezrukov, the People’s Artist of Russia, will set to voice and appear as an animated character for the first time in the upcoming animated film 'Arctic Heroes'. The animation is being produced by Voronezh Animation Studio with support from the Institute of Internet Development (IID) and Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation.

In the cartoon 'Arctic Heroes' Sergey Bezrukov will act as a brave captain of the nuclear icebreaker named «Igor Kurchatov». The character of Sergey Bezrukov will not only feature his voice but his appearance too. Addtionally, a talking cat Immanuel Quantum, Rosatom’s mascot, will be the captain’s loyal companion and friend.

The plot of the cartoon is based on the adventures of school kids rescuing a real living and intelligent baby mammoth found in the Arctic ice. The heroes help the Baby Mammoth to escape from an obsessed scientist and set off together on an exciting journey to uncover the mystery of its origin.

The universe of the cartoon and its plot will immerse the audience in the breathtaking Arctic world, where the endless snowy expanses coexist with innovative developments and cutting-edge technology. It is a story that celebrates friendship, courage, and support.
