Scientific discoveries, a journey to Siberia, and a battle against evil: first three episodes of new animated series ‘The Steel Family’ are now available on Kinopoisk

The story follows three siblings from an ordinary Moscow family: a fifteen-year-old robotics fan, a twelve-year-old blogger and a seven-year-old girl, who adores animals, suddenly find out that their father is not an engineer at all, but a real secret agent. The whole family goes on a deadly dangerous journey to Siberia to a scientific base hidden deep in the taiga wilderness, where an energy of incredible power unknown to science has been discovered. Together, they will have to unravel the mystery of the extraordinary energy associated with historical artifacts of Russia and protect it from the encroachment of a powerful corporation that wants to use the energy for its profit. At the crucial moment, the children must face the enemy on their own and become heroes, protecting the homeland and realizing that they are the family, despite all obstacles.

The project was created by Voronezh Animation Studio with the support of the Institute for Internet Development (IID).

New episodes will be available on Kinopoisk every Thursday. The series consists of 11 episodes, each 22 minutes long.
