New projects from Voronezh Animation Studio at Moscow International Film Week

Moscow International Film Week, which will become a platform for communicating with industry professionals and watching the best films from around the world, will be held from August 23 to 28. A series of workshops dedicated to the creation and production of film content will be held On August 26 and 27 as part of its business program.

A round table “Co-production in animation” will be held on August 26, from 14:30 to 15:45. Speakers will discuss the potential inherent in the co-production of animated content in its international format. General producer of Voronezh Animation Studio Vladimir Nikolaev will talk about the experience of co-production with China using the example of the company’s projects. Speakers include: Rathan Sam George, President, Toonz (India), Hasnaa Khattab, Head of Content, MBC (Saudi Arabia), Steve Cho, Senior Vice President of Strategy, Sunwoo (South Korea) and others. The moderator will be Soyuzmultfilm’s Business Development Director Katerina Pshenitsyna.

On August 27 at 14:00 a Pitching of animation projects will be held where the Voronezh studio will present its new project “Heroes of the Arctic" to the expert commission and representatives of the international animation business. The release is set for November 2025. The project is produced with the support of the Internet Development Institute.
