Arctic Heroes Wins at the Hero Festival

Arctic Heroes (directed by Alexey Zamyslov and Olga Maiborodina, Russia, 2025, 101 min., 6+), produced by Voronezh Animation Studio, has won the award for Best Feature-Length Animated Film for Children and Youth at the 4th International Hero Film Festival for Children and Young Audiences.

This achievement marks an important milestone for Voronezh Animation Studio and further highlights the strength and international recognition of Russian animation.

The festival’s competition program featured 109 films from 27 countries, including 59 Russian premieres. A total of 61 feature, animated, and documentary films were selected for the main program.

The 4th International Hero Film Festival for Children and Young Audiences concluded on May 22 at Cinema Park. This year, the festival attracted more than 13,000 visitors and took place across 17 venues in Krasnoyarsk and the surrounding region, offering an extensive program of screenings, industry discussions, educational events, and meetings with filmmakers.
